If you've been a long time reader, you know I'm always looking for great places to retire. I've looked at many cities and remain undecided. I find that there are so many choices out there that I wouldn't want to make a hasty decision. After all, I've worked hard for my future retirement, why not have it all? A house can be a lot of work and really I don't know if I'll have the time or the energy for that. I don't even want to get into money if it needs a lot of work. I like the hustle of downtown here, so why not look at a few downtown Austin condos . Its pretty in Austin and I know a big city will give me the entertainment I've been craving. I'd be able to walk to restaurants and bars so I think it could be a great consideration. I really do like to keep my options open and a great condo my just be the place.
I've never really looked at condos for sale in Austin so I really don't know where to start. I'm sure a good real estate agent will be able to show me places in my price range. Since I don't want to look at places in the out skirts of town, I realize the prices could be high. I don't want to spend so much on my living quarters that I can't go out for entertainment. Now how much fun would that be staying home? I'm fortunate that I have plenty of time to keep researching real estate, hopefully by the time I retire I have enough cash to get exactly what I want. Someday I'll have to quit researching and just take the plunge, but for now I'm just having fun looking at all of my options.
